Posca: these markers are some of the highest quality and most opaque markers I've used. I've very rarely had problems with these, usually due to user error anyway, and they've been my go-to for almost a year now, so I can 100% recommend trying these out if you get a chance
Evolve E7: made by a spray paint brand, and as such have a very strong spray paint smell to them. Sometimes they dry up seemingly on their own, and depending on the paper, can secretly bleed onto other pages without initially doing so. They're good quality, but risky
MTN Water based: good markers, great for initial base layers, slightly less great for layering on top of things, as their water based pigment doesn't always show up in the highest opacity. Solid markers, I should use mine more honestly
KONKER: water based like the above but...worse. really streaky at times and just overall only good for base layers. Do not even attempt layering these on top of another coat, it will suck and look uggo. Decent, I'd look for something else if possible
Artistro Pens: really high quality paint pens. only downside is I've needed to shake them more often than I'd like, to get the proper color to come out. The upside to this is accidentally getting colors you otherwise wouldn't get, by using the darker unmixed paint- recommended
will update this thread as I try out more paint marker brands, currently have my sights on arteza and aroic pens
