Almost 20 years ago, I was nearly killed in an attempted lynching by Brahman-UC thugs backed by the police. I survived because my clan acted fast. Yet, it was I who was arrested. Vilified. Slandered. I vowed, "Never again". 1/n
20 years later, now, not even the Sanghi thugs dared to burst a cracker even on 5 Aug to celebrate Ramrajya, let alone attempt any lynching of Muslims or Dalits where we have our strongholds even within BJP ruled states.
Don't try to teach me how we should fight to win. 2/n
I am alive and well only because the "Movement" can now protect its own. Even against the state.
Throughout the lockdown, we kept 8,000+ acutely distressed (mostly Muslim and Bahujan) families from starvation and death because we are strong enough to "expropriate" resources 3/n
When many others had been thrown into jail by the "state", its instruments like the NIA and the Army in counter insurgency deployment had come to us seeking *help* many times, and had treated us with deference, because - strength on the ground. 4/n
I get irked when people who have not faced what we have, not fought what we have, believe they know better or can teach us to fight.
I am 46. Not someone who is a student or holds a day job and does revolution on Twitter on weekends. 5/n
We are not some morons who would put in peril lives of our brethren compelled by some romantic notions of *revolution*. We are not college canteen Marxists. Marxism grew on us organically through the struggle. 6/n
We are not the private property owning Brahman-UC rentier frauds posing as Marxists. We follow our ideological integrity to the letter. 7/n
