so the obvious response there is that, that's not how philosophy works lol

But I think more important here, this channel does a lot of harm. the second we are put in a mental frame where we're expected to just passively accept pseudo-science and ridiculous quack psychology, the jackals (jordan peterson) are GOING to feast on your mind.

Jordan Peterson is just school of life with an explicit political purpose. And even that distinction is rendered meaningless by peterson's actual fans, who take his psychology claims as neutral, factual gospil.

(that said it does piss me off that people think philosophy is just a synonym for "random shit i just made up." Like not trying to sound elitist, but read some philosophers tbh, take a class. it's not just alain de botton speculating on how ppl who like parties are bad actually)
