As we anticipate "Confetti", I wanna share my story on how I become a mixer. This is my journey. 🎉

(A thread) @LittleMix
Im having second thoughts to share this cuz I know Im gonna cry and become emotional while typing this but... Let's do this anyway.
I first heard about them in 2015. When Black Magic came out, I hear the song everywhere here in the Philippines. At my school, a group of students danced to Black Magic and I liked the song so I asked the title of it. Then, SLS came out.
I hear SLS being sung in the kareoke everytime. Filipinos are great singers and like to do kareoke, and they will sing their hearts out to SLS. Once again, I liked it and asked the titlte. I noticed that BM and SLS was by Little Mix, and got interested in their music.
I forgot about them after a few years. When I was in 6th grade most of my classmates are Mixers and KPop fans. I remembered them again and BM and SLS flashes back in my memory. The Glory days era happened. During the GD and GW era, Little Mix was so huge in the Philippines ~
Until kpop bursted. SOTME was all over the radio. When one of my friends visited me at my house, She played Little Mix Music Videos on our TV. I really enjoyed watching with her and vibing to SOTME and Power. I wasn't an actual mixer back then yet. Until tge LM5 era came in.
I was at the mall with my classmates, I hear a very good tune playing, "I like my coffee with 2 sugats in it" "I made a few mistakes". I asked one of my friends which is a mixer and asked if she knows the song. She says "woman like me" by Little Mix.
I cant get over the song and when I got back home, I started playing it. Before I can even search "Woman Like Me" on the TV, The "Hair" Music Video was on my youtube recommendation. I saw it was by Little Mix and watched it. Everytime I was on the TV i played "Hair".
I started watching their live performances. Their performance at the Summertime Ball 2017 was the very first live perf I watched. I watched "Power" "Hair". I was having a second thought of watching this video that said "Touch - Live at Summertime Ball 2017"
I dont know why tho, I think its cuz its the first time I saw it and Im not gonna like it. I eventually decided to watch it, and god damn I fell in love. I started watching the Brits perfs and many more lives. I began playing their songs while doing chores around the house.
That's when I felt like I was about to STAN THEM. At first, I was biased. I only liked Perrie and Jade. And had Leigh and Jesy as my least favorite. I started knowing about their personal life, personalities and their background, birthdays etc.
I realized that they have a really good personality when you get to know them well. I started liking them equally. On January 2019. That's the date I rememver when I became an Actual Mixer. I started a twitter stan account. I would defend them as much as I could.
During the MTV HOTTEST 2019 event. I became more attached to them and literally became my everyday routine. Every time I wake up, I play their songs and music videos. Most of my friends turned into KPop fans and I remained a mixer. I only know few irls who stan Little Mix.
Because of that, I was shy to share Little Mix related post on my personal accounts on facebook and twitter cuz I think I was the only one who stanned them and I might annoy the people who sees my posts. I BECAME A HARCORE MIXER.
The bounce back era was my FIRST era as a mixer. BB was the first single I anticipated. That's also the reason why I downloaded SPOTIFY. I downloaded spotify to pre-save BB. Thanks to BB I have discovered spotify lmao. I did covers and learned their choreography
All my family members, brother, cousins, aunts, are Kpop stans. They would get annoyed if I play Little Mix songs and I literally get pissed. They would even say mean things them like fat, black, thin. I did not let that slip. I defended them. Even my father, I told them that ~
There was no need to say mean things to them. I regularly try to explain how these girls are very talented and doesn't deserve all the hate. I didn't sis respect their kpop idols, so I told them to do tg same. I was the only mixer in my family and Im proud to be one.
I started buying their merch. Became more active in this stan account and became my everyday habit. Since then, I didn't have a day where I did not listen or watch any Little Mix content. They make me so happy and loved that my irls could not give to me.
I am so thankful that Im stanning the right artist. From the start I think i was bound to become a mixer. How would even a Little Mix MV got on my YT recommendation 3 years ago? 😂
Confetti is going to be my first Little Mix album release aa a mixer. Im getting really emotional on how far I got on stanning and supporting them. I couldn't imagine my life without Little Mix. I thank God for giving them to me. Confetti would be the BEST GIFT I COULD EVER HAVE.
I love and respect the girls to the moon and back. I will always be and forever be a Mixer. I AM A PROUD MIXER. I really regret that I became a LATE mixer and didn't stan them earlier. Maybe my life would be less lonely back then If i'd stan them before.
Don't be afraid to share your story as well. Feel free to share it to the world. Thank you for reading this thread form start to finish. Now you know my story, what's yours?
