i had a decent fiat base when i entered these markets, but current portfolio is pretty ridiculous

the funny thing is that ive never taken much profits on anything until very recently

i have been 80%+ alts allocation til a few weeks ago lol

believe me when i say i like making money

i'd much much rather be bullish on crypto / defi

but my job as a retail investor managing my own money is very simple - make a lot of money, and dont lose it

imo, the markets now, particularly defi, is spastic af and very overconfident

im long term optimistic on crypto and especially defi

but internally seeing the retardation in the defi markets in the past few months bubbling into the past weeks, it's giving me a sick feeling

that plus externally, the macro seems really shit to me for a mad gainz set up

i mentioned earlier that i am zen

and while that might sound like im bearish and i moved the bulk of my portfolio into USD, that's not so

a lot of people cannot forgive themselves for not riding every single pump

i don't need to be chasing every single "trade of the week" because that's not where my alpha comes from

as a retail investor, you need to know your edges

retail doesnt need to have an opinion on every new token

retail doesnt have career risk to NOT be in a trade / thesis

retail doesnt have to outperform other funds to attract AUM

at the end of the day im still a retail investor
