There's lot of other media you can enjoy. Hell, PLENTY involving schools of people with special powers (countless, really).
Maybe just... Don't play this game, because your trans family and friends are being attacked by it's original creator.

What if we just... Stop using Harry Potter media in general? Find something else to give our time and attention too. Even better, what if we make NEW entertainment ourselves, and be thrilled at the idea of making new world's where bigotry won't be allowed in?

So, instead of finding a work around... Buying it used, pirating it, balancing out the cost by donating to a trans charity (which maybe you do that one regardless)... Maybe you just don't play it.
