reasons why there’s much more to hayden christensen than just him being attractive (a thread)
first of all, I’m making this because I’ve seen a lot of things on here recently about how people only watch his films or the prequels because he’s “hot” and I have come to make it clear that, that is EXTREMELY disrespectful to hayden, believe it or not.
there’s so much more to hayden than just what meets the eye, yes he’s absolutely gorgeous there’s no denying that, but let’s appreciate his UNDYING talent that hollywood and half of the world has pushed to the side all because of anakin skywalker.
ive read so many articles about things his co star’s have said and they’re always!! positive. they talk a lot about him being extremely quiet, and extremely determined to get into the actual mindset of his character. not many actors do that.
and aside from acting, he’s a father. and a damn good one at that. he loves his daughter more than anything, and he made it his life mission to keep her safe and out of the public eye. his world absolutely revolves around his daughter.
he’s also just a really good human being. he keeps to himself, never in the public eye unless he’s out doing something. you never hear one bad thing about hayden and I respect him a lot for that.
now, of course I do not know him personally but from interviews, things people have said about him, and videos I’ve seen, he’s the biggest dork EVER. poor baby cannot work twitter, didn’t get a computer until 2010?? 2013??? and cannot properly hold a phone
he’s also such a positive person no matter what. all of the backlash he’s received and he’s still so proud that HE played anakin skywalker. he speaks so highly of the role and the star wars franchise even though everyone hates him for it.
at the little Italy premiere, he gave kelly marie tran a little bit of advice on how to deal with hate that she had received from her role as rose tico in the sequels, proving that he is literally one of the sweetest, kindest and compassionate people.
moral of the story is, please stop overlooking his talent and his character as a human simply because he’s attractive. hayden christensen is much more than his looks. he’s a human, a real human with feelings just like you and I. be kind.
