if they weren’t constantly trying to knock each other out, Nistro and Yuma would be such good friends

even so I’m absolutely loving the rivalry they have going on. i feel like Yuma is so much happier duelling with Nistro than anyone else because Nistro seems to be one of the few characters not duelling for the wrong reasons, which is something that was really bothering Yuma all

throughout the duel carnival. he was so upset about shark succumbing and about Trey and Quinton and Quattro and so disgusted by Vetrix’s words and actions, what he did to Dextra. but Nistro is here, to battle Yuma himself, demanding that he duel like no tomorrow. telling Yuma

that he’s been looking forward to enjoying this duel simply because he likes Yuma’s style. not for revenge or to cause hurt. just for a good duel. and Yuma gets so fired up because finally. a duel where your goal isn’t to hurt one another relentlessly.
