What to expect if pulled-over by @LAPDHollywood:

White drivers:
1) Given ticket or warning
2) Leave

Black drivers:
1) Ordered out-of-car
2) Hands-behind-head
3) Face-the-wall
4) Handcuffed
5) Searched
6) Given ticket or warning
7) Leave

This isn’t hyperbole. This is empirical.

I’ve seen all-out searches of *black* people and vehicles because “music was too loud,” — as was the case with this *black* driver of this SUV.

After doing all this: no ticket was given. So why the need for this search?

Why are we pretending these stops aren’t an issue. They are. Its so ridiculous:

In Hollywood, they will handcuff and force you to face the wall if you..... *Jaywalk*.

Yes, the @LAPDHollywood will handcuff you for *Jaywalking* — even if the detaining officers *didn’t actually witness* the Jaywalking.

Sometimes they’ll stop you while doing absolutely nothing wrong at all.

This poor guy was waiting for his Uber. His Uber sat there waiting throughout this detainment. How humiliating.

Me: Why were you put in handcuffs?

Lady: For No Reason!

Sometimes they pull over kids because they see them pour liquid out window. So you line them up against the wall:

You can always tell when stops are based on dubious reasons, because when you try to get the officer’s names to file 3rd party complaints, the officers *TAKE THE FCK OFF*

It gets worse, notice how the cops comeback to the scene. I think it’s to scare the kids to prevent them from talking further:

Came back to scare kids off. I got chance to ask about probable cause for pulling-out & *search*. He cited Mims vs Pa (doesn’t give right to search). Also said I didnt have right to ask for his ID. Wrong about both.

The cops don’t know the laws, y’all.

Of course let’s not forget how the LASD put kids in cuffs and put in police cars, then searched the hell out of a car because *window tints*:

How about the black guy who just bought his car at auction, then gets pulled-over 3 blocks from auction, cuffed and put in police car.

But then released w/no ticket.

Why is handcuffing & detaining black people for minor traffic infractions the norm?
