So confession time. Used to be a pretty big Sword Art Online nerd. That was until 2012 when I watched in horror probably one of the worst anime adaptations based on a light novel. Made me really embarrassed to be a SAO fan. Sad this kind of quality continued for nearly 100 eps.

The only good thing about the anime are the music and the animations. Everything else made SAO into some sort of Gary Stu harem fulfillment series with fanservice at every corner which it isn't. Anime version Kirito is just a shell of what he truly is.
