A thread--We, as constitutionalists, need to speak louder than both the pro life and pro abortion people. THIS is the argument for which we've been waiting. To be clear, the mind of a decent person recoils at the idea of abortion for convenience sake but this isn't an...
an ethics class. This is a civics class. The Constitution doesn't support Roe v Wade. It was and is a gross overreach of federal authority. We know that "progressives" will make emotional appeals and dramatic lies. It's already started. They are raising money on this issue...
already. They are trotting out racial appeals. Pop culture progressives are shrieking calls for revolution to there easily manipulated low information base.
THIS is about our republic. THIS is about constitution. We have seen in recent years a slight shift back toward
constitutionality after almost 100 years of the left progressing past the constitution. We have seen bright spots, although small quick flashes, of judicial pushback in the wake of tyrannical governmental emergency restrictions. Now we make our argument. We demand a Supreme Court
that recognizes it's own limitations. We demand a federal government that recognizes we are a union of states. I don't care about your views on abortion. I don't care about my views on abortion. I care about the Constitution. First foremost and always.
I apologize for the couple of spelling errors I've made in this thread. I ask everyone who agrees and disagrees to take this argument in good faith. The states need to take back their God given rights and authority. If your state wants legal abortion so be it....
