A Gamper thread. There are positives and negatives here, and I will try to be fair.

Let's start.
[1] Bartomeu should fucking resign and after he fucking resigned that shameless fuck should fuck the fuck off.
[2a] I think Riqui Puig is one of our best midfielders but I also understand the argument that between Messi, Dembélé, Coutinho, Trincao, Aleñà, Pedri, FDJ, Pjanic and Puig the competition for all the slots we could imagine him in is brutal. Brutal.
[2b] With this in mind, if the current coach does not think he will get minutes, a solution must be found. The club MUST ensure Puig has a future at Barça. Finding a club where he can get solid playing time could be better for Puig - and Barça - in the long term.
[2c] That doesn't mean I like it. It's also very weird that Puig would be the first one out on a loan and not Pedri, but perhaps they are afraid that Pedri won't get enough minutes at another club due to his young age and they prefer to develop him in-house for at least a season
[3a] Our pressing was very, very encouraging. I don't think we have seen this since Valverde's first league games in 2017. I very much imagine Suarez sitting in the stands and thinking "why do they run so much, this all looks very tiring."
[3b] Somebody who looked like Coutinho was pressing like a maniac during the first 30 minutes and that same guy in minute 75 WAS STILL PRESSING.

I am not sure who this player is.
[4a] I am repeating myself, but Frenkie De Jong takes too many touches. He should learn from Carles Alenyà (I am not kidding).
[4b] This does not mean Alenyà is a more talented player overall - they are different profiles anyway - but playing more one or two touch passes is what keeps Frenkie from being an absolute elite midfielder right now.
[5] Jordi Alba was actually pretty good, I just wish he'd be pretty good somewhere else. Same could be said of Roberto.
[6a] It is predictably obvious that we miss a forward who attacks space. So much talent, but they do not really complement each other.
[6b] Our best hope for attacking space is probably Griezmann at 9 (check YT to see how many of his goals last season came from making forward runs), but Koeman (and Larsson) would really need to work with him on his positioning and movement throughout the match.
[6c] It was interesting to see that Dembélé is the one who attacked space most, and in limited minutes on the pitch. He lacks that killer instinct to shoot the ball when he is open, though.
[7] When everybody said who the fuck is Trincao, Abidal said that 30m was perhaps cheap. And perhaps he's right.
[8] Messi does not look happy, however, I think this team is on the right path and if we continue to play well, he might end up happy that he was forced to stay. An unhappy Messi is a big fucking problem though.
[9] Speaking of happiness, no minutes for Semedo. If this is a sign of his imminent sale, it will make a lot of Twitter culés very happy indeed.
