If the MANY genetic diseases do not kill us, we tend to live a very, very long time. Typically 90s, sometimes 100s.

I keep seeing all those “she was so old” stuff but like, 87 is nothing in tiny Ashkenazi woman years. I’ve got relatives much older than that

And this isn’t just anecdotal, there are actual studies on this.

It still is extremely frustrating that one of the only adults in the room was a woman in her 80s, with cancer. It doesn’t say a lot about our country that so much rested upon her.

Obviously we need more progressives besides him but I find myself hoping Bernie has those same genes
