Massively underrated hip-hop/RnB tune from the MTV Base era. And one of the greatest tribute music videos there's been. This is what Biggie deserved, not Puff Daddy arseing about in a field after falling off a motorbike for some reason.

When Jay-Z presumably got paid seven figures for a couple of hours of his time (and a bang average verse) to lend some cred to Mariah Carey. Just as well the rest of the song is class:

My wife stuck this on her Spotify playlist not long ago and I couldn't believe how well it held up. It should have been objectively rubbish then, let alone now, but DAMN if that chorus isn't one of the best earworms of the era:

Just a stone-cold classic. That intro, that beat drop, the legendary chorus. Absolutely no surprise that 13 years after its release it was used in the climatic scene of Deadpool. It never gets old.

Hahahahahaha. Remember this? Did these guys even release anything else? Don't think I'd heard this song in about 15 years before I found it on a playlist last week - but I could rap and sing literally every word. Shocking use of a classic Dre beat though.

When I went to Trash 'unders', this was the song that was guaranteed more than any other to make me absolutely lose my shit. Who's got time for 'nipping' a lassie when I can jump around like a fucking maniac?
