90% of the things portrayed as a crisis in our political media are just things outlined clearly in the Constitution, which also has two clear ways of amending the Constitution. It's our leaders being incapable of working within the Constitution that is the problem.

If Pelosi and Schumer were competent they'd be offering something in exchange for a moderate nominee, a balanced budget amendment, entitlement reform, etc. That's their only leverage. Losing an election isn't a constitutional crisis. Not having power isn't a political crisis.
