On the 8th of May, 2020, I went to @PaleFeatherZen Admiralty Way Branch to pay for an @IkejaElectric Prepaid Meter using the Pre-filled teller we were given by @IkejaElectric.
Ordinarily, the meter was supposed to be installed within 15days after payment was made.
But for some unknown reason, it wasn't. I reached out to @IkejaElectric and @ieServe and after several requests, I received this feedback.
I then went to @ZenithBank Admiralty Way branch where I made the payment to complain so they could resolve the issue. On getting there, the teller who did the transaction was called and I explained everything. He made me wait in the bulk room while he went on with his work.
Another banker came and from the respect given to her, I guess she was their superior. She saw that I had been waiting and asked what happened. After explaining, She asked for the details of the transaction, wrote it down and went back to her desk. I believed it would be resolved
So, I went back to work. This was over two weeks ago, My parents and our tenants have been calling me almost everyday to remind me to go to the bank but I've been busy at work. Today, my mum called to complain that our neighbors who paid for prepaid meters after us have gotten it
I tweeted @ZenithBank and they asked me to send a DM as if they intended to get it resolved.
I sent the teller and the payment receipt evidencing the transaction. I was then asked for my account details and when I told them I don't use the bank, that it's @IkejaElectric account
People of God, I was blocked o. Imagine my shock. A bank blocked a complainant because the complainant doesn't have an account with the bank.
When one door is closed, we kick open another one. We'll have our rematch on Monday. Since basic courtesy eludes you as a service provider. At least from the foregoing, it is evident that I tried peaceful resolution. @ZenithBank @cenbank @instablog9ja
@fccpcnigeria Please come to my aid. Zenith Bank has by their actions shown that they believe only the rights of account holders matter. I just want my parents to get the prepaid meter I paid for. Kindly find all the pertinent information in the thread. Thank you.
