To explain the Shia Genocide, one must first illustrate what a Genocide is and when does it start

Classification ⇨ People are divided into “us and them”. Those radical terrorists don’t see the Shia Muslims as one of themselves. The majority of the other sects in Islam developed a big unrealistic picture of Shias.

Symbolization ⇨ Shias are forced to identify themselves. In certain countries this will lead you to getting hate and killed

Discrimination ⇨ Shias are facing systematic discrimination. They’re getting hate because of their religious beliefs, traditions and cultural heritage

Dehumanization ⇨ We are getting killed because of our beliefs with the justification that we’re Shia.

Organization ⇨ There are special group’s created for the killing of Shias. Terrorists Organizations like ISIL or Al Qaeda are promoting the killing of Shias.

Polarization ⇨ There is Propaganda to turn the Population against Shias. There is violence and politics used to create division in the society.

Preparation ⇨ Official action to remove/relocate Shias. Most recent case are the protests in Pakistan.

Persecution ⇨ Shias are getting murdered and harassed. Shia clerics are getting imprisonment and there is a systematic treatment to cause physical and mental pain. [Speicher Massacre]

Extermination ⇨ Elimination of the Group and not murder because the people are not considered human. Genocidal massacre, religious persecution, ethnic cleansing, human trafficking and forced conversions to Sunnism.

Denial ⇨ The government and people deny that there is a Shia Genocide or even cover those Problems up with a new made up hashtag.

The term “Anti-Shi’ism” means prejudice against or hatred of Shia Muslims.

↳ In recent years, with the financial support of Saudi Arabia, Anti-Shi’ism has increased dramatically throughout the world and includes: the demolition of Shia Shrines in Saudi Arabia; attacks on Shia homes in Bahrain; the mass killing of Shia in Pakistan; road bombs in Shia-

populated areas of Syria and Iraq; targeted attacks on Shia and Alawies in Damascus; and the destruction of Shia homes in Indonesia and pressure on Shia in Malaysia to convert.

Murder and forced displacement however, are not the only manifestation of anti-Shiism. Anti-Shi’ism is found in other forms including, but not limited to:

Faith ⇨ some sects consider the Shia to be nonbelievers (Kuffar)

Economic ⇨ Shias are unable to climb to high level government jobs, nor can they hold critical economic positions in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia

Social ⇨ Shia are excluded from participation in mainstream society in Malaysia

Subjugation ⇨ In some parts of the world, Shia are treated as second-class citizens

Anti-Shi’ism and the Media

The most modern and disappointing example of Anti-Shi’ism can be witnessed in the Media coverage, or lack thereof, of Shia suffering. Since the Arab Spring, Shia have been threatened by extremists, thousands have been murdered and injured,

many Shia women and children have been arrested and tortured, and historical sites have been demolished and desecrated.
Yet, many media outlets remain silent in the face of such inhumane acts against Shia Muslims.
