#echofirst #VHD lovers: 55 yo
with 2 previous kidney Tx, currently on HD, referred to our #HeartValveTeam for isolated TR with 2 episodes of RHF (leg oedema, ascites). Our echo confirms severe TR, the valve looks fine (no Ebstein, no vegetation, no prolapse, no carcinoid)

so functional TR. On the left side: no MV or AV disease, normal LVEF, moderate diastolic dysfunction. Thoughts? What would you do next? @dr_benoy_n_shah @RodrigogpLima @RODRIGOVISCONT1 @iamritu @hvanspall @strain_rate @DrMarthaGulati @AnastasiaSMihai @MAecocardio @fpmorcerf

Update: due to
no LV disease, no elevated LV fill press, no costriction, high GLS, CO, S’ we felt that AV fistula could be the culprit here
this is the result after 2 months of AV fistula closure
