I make a point to read conservative publications or ones that “lean” conservative like the Economist, WSJ, others (BUT REPUTABLE ONES!!) — I also watch Fox News a bit each day. And it occurred to me, a lot of what I see in response when we debate are RW blogs or opinion pieces...
We are so incredibly media illiterate in this country

Journalists of reputable publications are held to higher standards of accuracy, how on earth can I combat a RW blog in a debate? It’s editorial held to no ethical standard of accuracy.

Between editorial and journalism — we can not overcome the denial of science, facts, etc if we continue down this path

There is no baseline of truth, and that is exactly what we need, we will always be at an impasse in our current state, and vulnerable to outside influence
