In the last 6 weeks. 16 people have died 'with' Covid in their system, ALL had serious underlying medical conditions. 2 were over the age of 45, 2 were over 60, 6 were over 75, 4 were over 85. NONE have died "from" Covid.

In total, since the start of Covid, the number of people who are recorded to have died "from" Covid alone. (Ie those with no other serious critical illnesses as a cause of death) has DROPPED from 100 to 97.
Of those 97 deaths, 89 were over the ages of 65, 75 & 85. In short, just 8 'healthy' people under 65, those without at least one listed critical ilnesss have died 'from' Covid.
By comparison, there has been 80 road deaths & over 200+ suicides in the same demographic.
The metric the politicians, news media & public health officials, have been using to formulate decisions has been the 'Case' numbers. While decreasing rates of hospitalizations and death have been largely ignored.
In the past 6 weeks, cases have increased by 5062 (almost 20% up on previous 6 months) Non fatal hospitalizations only rose by 103, non fatal icu admissions rose by 11. So this puts the icu & hospitalization rates way down.
The total 'case to fatality rate' up to the 8th Aug was 5.67%, but, from then to now is just 0.31 %
Hospitalization rate is down from 12.59% to 2.03%. This should be GOOD NEWS. But you wont hear that anywhere.

We have been mandated to wear a mask on public transport for past 2 months and everywhere else for over a month? How have cases jumped so rapidly, does this prove their ineffectiveness?
It is no coincidence that the Irish Government recently increased daily testing capacity from 35,000 to 100,000 per week. And expanded it to testing people with just one or no symptoms.
In short, when tests numbers go up, the number of positives will go up.

But sickness & death is decreasing! Which is not being reported.
Its a virus, like any other. Its supose to spread through the population until it dies off. People will continue to catch it or already have traces of it still in their DNA/RNA.
The PCR testing used by Irish labs (bought from China in late April) has shown a 29% error rate in some studies. http://CEBM.net state that "the PCR test does offer the capacity to detect RNA (like DNA) in minute quantities
but whether that RNA represents an infectious virus may not be clear" In other words, the level of detection is so small, that there is no evidence that a positive PCR test for Covid 19, will tell us that a person is actually infectious.
To date, 1788 irish people have been recorded to have died 'with' Covid. But only 97 have actually been recorded to have 'from' Covid alone. Now compare that to annual cancer deaths of 9000.
The Irish times report. In late July, Rachel Morrogh from the Irish Cancer Society (ICS) said that more than 450 cancers and 1,600 pre-cancers will have gone undetected during the pause in screenings from late March to the end of July.
This will lead to an estimated 800-900 extra cancer deaths in Ireland each year for next 5 years.
The first few months of covid was a bit of an unknown. However, the data has been clear for months now (since May or earlier). The negative effects of lockdown - business closures, subsequent unemployment, deaths of despair, mental health problems
subtance & domestic abuse, increase in undetected cancer & other diseases, extra suicide deaths - are guaranteed to far outweigh any Covid numbers.
The harder to measure data will be from the constant division & fear mongering by the propaganda coming from the 3 state bodies, Dail Eireann, NPHET & RTE.
Constantly blaming the citizens for spreading a 'deadly' virus that has a measurably lower risk of illness or death than from many other life risks.
With social distancing alone & high risk individuals taking extra care, the chance of getting, & dying, from covid are so tiny that the Lotto odds look better. Its a telling sign of low risk, when every health & life assurance policy now offer Covid cover at no extra cost.
The government & public servants will never admit fault, and will always be trying to justify their existence by creating new lines for the Irish public to stay behind or cross (if we dare)
Before the next election. Extra suicide deaths will be up by 1600+, undiagnosed extra cancer deaths will be up 3000+.
Not including covid deaths, how many people have already died alone without family & friends because of lockdown?, how many unnattened funerals to date?, how many extra thousands of people will be suffering with depression.
. All unnecessary! How can any TD look their constituents in the face after this.
The blame will try to be shifted to the desease itself and the actions/inactions of the Irish people. This will not be true, the blame for the extra unnecessary suffering and death brought on by lockdown measures lies directly with the decisions made by our politicians
Since May or possibly earlier, the government is either ignorant to or wilfully ignoring very measurable data & evidence. In 4 years time (or sooner hopefully), every party & TD who stood by and said nothing should be voted out of office.
