Finished some stuff earlier than expected. For those who (civilly) asked for info and proof about hero hei, here you go.

While searching, in addition to Crunchyroll, Funimation and Rooster Teeth, I found additional evidence about another topic hero hei lied about. (Thread)
First, short one about Rooster Teeth, the lies I am talking about were lies of omission. These screenshots show the titles of some of his videos. Titles and screenshots are what drives viewers when deciding what videos to watch. In the titles, he used
"Rooster Teeth Vice President". Using "Rooster Teeth Vice President" evokes the image of the second highest ranking person at Rooster Teeth. However, he used "Vice President of Product and Engineering" in the video description, so he knew what the person's full rank was but
omitted it from the titles. By seeing the actual rank, viewers would know that the terminated person was not the second highest ranked person at Rooster Teeth. Not including information in a title to give viewers the wrong impression amounts to lies of omission.

Some will argue
that he didn't lie since the full rank was given in the description, it's just click bait and no big deal. That's fine but omitting information from the beginning warps first impressions and are still lies, even if small. That said, continue reading for more of his overt lies.
Next, while researching, I found he created videos regarding the case brought by Vic Mignogna (hereafter "VM"). Such as the one in this screenshot. This video is about how VM's 17 claims were dismissed but in such video he mentions how "we've been succeeding, we've been winning"
and how "in the grand scheme of things, we've had so much victory" (14:48-14:56). This shows that hero hei didn't know or care to check about the actual status of the case prior to this video despite having access to court documents.
Whether you are for or against VM, if hero
hei bothered checking, he would know that, in part due to the incompetence of Ty Beard (VM's attorney), VM was not winning throughout the trial stage of the case.

See below for actual screenshots and legal analysis of how poorly Ty Beard drafted some filings/briefs.
Multiple attorneys confirmed this (check replies and retweets).

Ty Beard also attempted to forge VM's signature for an affidavit (Ty Beard tried to forge his own client's signature). See here for screenshots showing the attempted forgery (also check
replies and retweets). https://twitter.com/questauthority/status/1169674089604222977https://twitter.com/crumbedup/status/1192230374790836224

Ty Beard also didn't prep VM at all for his deposition. VM's case was already weak but his deposition weakened it even further. See here for screenshots and legal analysis of the transcript of VM's deposition (also check replies and
retweets). https://twitter.com/questauthority/status/1148745016682196992
If VM were "winning", the judge would not have dismissed all 17 of VM's claims. In other words, hero hei had no idea how the case was going and spread false information about the status of the case (lie of commission).
Further, he continues to
spread false information about VM's case. As can be seen in the titles of these videos, he is trying to create the impression that the other side is desperate and losing in VM's appeal. This is false since, again, due in part to Ty Beard's incompetence, VM has no chance of
victory at the appellate level either.

Whether one side or another, multiple people are probably going to jump in on this. Before anyone does, to reiterate, whether you are for or against VM, this doesn't change the fact that 1) Ty Beard was incompetent, 2) hero hei didn't know
or care to check about the actual status of the case before the judgment was issued and 3) he lied saying "we were winning". (Note, don't bother asking me further about this because I won't respond. I already have too many things to catch up on anyway.)

A 3rd example of hero
hei's lies is one that I already retweeted about, Animelog in relation to Crunchyroll and Funimation. This one was easier since another person did the research. However, I decided to take it further. In addition to news sources, I checked the official company press release by
capitalist Benjamin Grubbs. So it's not Japan or Japanese anime companies leading this venture. It's a western company.

Further, the press release clearly states that Animelog intends to release family oriented/older classic anime. These types of anime don't do
well on Crunchyroll or Funimation. In other words, Animelog will not compete with Crunchyroll or Funimation but will compliment what they offer. So the idea that "Japan" or at least Japanese anime companies are banding together to destroy Crunchyroll and Funimation is false
(a lie of commission). Instead, such companies are trying to generate ad revenue off of older/family oriented anime.
Further, in another video, he says that Toei's investment in Animelog shows how Japan is trying to fight Funimation. But Toei already did this once before with
venture? Because his lies exacerbate conflict or generate controversy where none existed (e.g., trying to create ideas like "Japan is on the side of true fans against the sjws at Funimation!"). More conflict and controversy leads to more clicks and thus more money for hero hei.
So, his channel is the equivalent of a tabloid where he lies and strings along viewers to make a profit.

These are just some examples. Go back further and more can be found.

A couple of side notes.
It's been mentioned that hero hei just reads what's on
screen. Unfortunately, this is just one way to make himself appear more credible. He decides what to put on screen himself and omits other documents. Thus, you don't get all of the relevant info. Further, there are times where he puts a document on screen but skips through large
portions (see the above about the dismissal of VM's case). These are lies of omission.

There you have it. Hero hei is not just giving his opinion. He openly lies and continues to lie. I would rather not see tweets by someone who lies to create conflict/controversy and profit
therefrom. Further, I would rather not see tweets by those who support and spread a liar's lies even though it's been previously shown on at least several occasions that he is a liar (i.e., those who enable a liar).
