Upsides of the GOP's ghoulish behavior & rush to get a justice on the court in the fastest nomination/confirmation in American history.

Every GOP senate candidate on Judiciary Committee will be forced off the campaign trail. That includes Graham, Tillis, Ernst and Cornyn.../1

Next: Indepedents put Trump in the White House. They vote a lot. This time they are breaking for Biden by 7 points. But 70% support abortion rights. The more that the GOP makes.../2

...this about abortion, the higher chance they'll lose independents.

Now, *hopefully* progressives will see why this matters. Independents are reliable voters, progressives arent. All appeals right now will be going to those who will vote either way, not those we have to beg../3

...THIS is why dems have trouble moving too far left - because too many progressives are all or nothing, but even then it is unclear if they would vote (they didnt even come out for Bernie in huge numbers in primaries.) No one would alienate those who vote for those who dont...

...and center by voting. If the stakes in this election are not enough to get progressives to the voting booth and voting seriously, they will be ignored from now until perpetuity. No one - NO ONE - gets the candidate that is perfect for them.

And what is on the table even without the court: Cutting back corporate $ in elections (Congress can take out Citizens United and dems want to), voting rights (dems want VRA powered), abortion rights...

...and also how many millions of people will or wont have health insurance. If you wont vote because you want a particular form of health insurance - even though if SCOTUS is gone forever it will NEVER exist - and are willing to force millions to lose their insurance for that...

...no one will give a damn, ever, what you want.

Empower everyone. Vote. DONT throw away the chance for change. A Biden presidency without a democratic senate will be powerless. We need both. And that will never happen if you dont vote.
