At least a thousand now gathered at anti-lockdown protests in Trafalgar Square following a Save Our Children QAnon-inspired rally earlier.
Lots of placards promoting conspiracy theories - from Covid is a hoax to Bill Gates wants to kill everyone with vaccine to QAnon!

Whilst some of those attending may have legitimate concerns about the impact of restrictions, signs are promoting a number of false and unfounded claims! That includes:

The focus appears to be on the UK - with false + unfounded suggestions the pandemic is a coverup for child trafficking/ 5G installation/ vaccines to inject microchips.
But also examples of some looking towards the US election - who believe Biden is linked to a child trafficking.

Whilst lots of women appear to have gone along to the earlier Save Our Children March, in Trafalgar Square there’s young, old, men, women - and people of different ethnicities and backgrounds. Kids in buggies, too!

Some of those at the Save Our Children rally were not just simply opposed to child abuse and trafficking - that’s something the majority of people vehemently oppose!
They sincerely believed that children were being held in tunnels to be eaten by the Elites - QAnon disinfo.

Since the start of the rally, the number at the protest has grown to at least a few thousand.
A big protest with people across the political spectrum promoting a mix of conspiracy theories, unfounded allegations and false claims!

It’s hard to spot those promoting legitimate concerns about new restrictions what with the placards and speakers promoting conspiracy theories about the pandemic - and disinformation linked to QAnon!
Protests seemed to get increasingly lively - and violent - today, too.
