10 things you shouldn't do to or with your pastor .

1. You should not worship your pastor . He is a gift of God to be honored but not worshipped . To worship your pastor is to make him the centre whereas Jesus is to be the centre of your worship. A good pastor ensures that Jesus is centre of your life and not him .

2. Do not gossip about your pastor . Gossip makes Satan's work against your pastor easier . Especially when bad press comes from you who are close to him or attends the ministry . Have an issue ? Go and discuss it before your pastor rather than behind him .

3. Do not be stingy to your pastor . If you have a dedicated and hard-working pastor who is laboring over you ensure you are generous towards him . It is an act of honor and gratitude. Don't be stingy to your own gift from God !

4. Do not commit immorality with your pastor . While the pastor could be admired ,this admiration must never translate to lust . Never ever be in that place where you are open to sleeping with or sinning with your pastor . Never ever give room for this . Never !

5. Support the ministry and calling of your pastor . God has called him . It is wisdom to be a pillar in that ministry knowing that you are doing God's will . Do not be an inconsequential member of your local church . Be a pillar !

6. Cover his nakedness . Every man has a weakness . There are things people are susceptible to . If this weakness is not a moral one then learn to walk in love towards your pastor . If it is a sin that needs addressing then call the attention of the elders to it .

7.pray for your pastor . This is so important . Ensure you put your pastor in prayer daily . Praying for your pastor is praying for yourself . God uses this gift to bless you .It is wisdom to pray for Gods gift to you

8. Do not lie for or to your pastor .

This is self explanatory .

9. Solve a problem in his life . Everyone needs complementing . What thing does your pastor lack ? Good teacher but poor administrator ? Very anointed but poor time keeper ? Complement his gift ! When you do the whole ministry looks more beautiful.

10. Be a good disciple of his teachings .
The greatest joy of a pastor is to have disciples who represent the message being taught . Be a great ambassador of what you are being taught !
