Okay, about acrylic pour medium ada banyak yg u boleh guna, dari yg high end product to inexpensive and u can just DIY with it. But here, I’ll share most of about DIY version and I’ll do quick view on high end version.

Perkara yg maksuu akan citer:

• DIY ver pouring medium

Nih just a quick pengenalan berkaitan jenis2 high end or premium version for acrylic pour painting medium:

• Liquitex pouring medium

Liquitex nih memang high end lah and most preferable item for professionals artists, and tak nafikan memang mahal (nangis dompet sis) tp quality product dia memang superb lah...

nih basic colour yg maksu pernah beli and pakai, nih starter pack for beginners included blending medium

Slow dry blending medium nih sesuai untuk org yg nak guna acrylic paint dalam masa yg lama, means dia taknak bagi paint tuh cepat kering so instead of using water, guna nih

And now maksu pon dah suka pakai liquitex nih sbb easily blended the colours and susah lah colour dia formed lumps or ketulan2 masa nak blending dgn pouring mediums tuh.... tp as for now, Maksu belum ada budget lagi nak beli yg Liquitex pouring medium tuh... hehe

Apa itu Gesso? Kenapa kena guna gesso?

Okay Gesso nih function dia utk bantu kita prepare the canvas, aka “primes”.

If u noticed that most of commercial canvas dia selalunya dah siap tulis “Gesso triple primed” camtuh, means canvas nih dah siap...

siap sapu dgn gesso... so, rupa gesso tuh pulak adalah camnih... dia putih dan akan mengeras bila kering...

Kita faham canvas nih dari kain(cotton) kan? So, basically kain akan meresap warna acrylic tuh, end up artist akan membazir guna banyak warna...

so, function gesso nih act as layering surface utk terima warna acrylic paint tuh. So, takderlah artist tu nak kena re-apply warna bnyk kali on canvas tuh (usually people yg buat techniques impasto kot?) Sorry tak familiar sngat dgn techniques nih.
