Turns out @zoom_us has a crappy face-detection algorithm that erases black faces...and determines that a nice pale globe in the background must be a better face than what should be obvious.

It’s important to realize that the problems with Twitter and Zoom are small potatoes compared to the fact that this same technology is being used to put innocent people in jail. This tech destroys Black lives and families. #BlackLivesMatter
