people just can& #39;t seem to be able to comprehend the mere existence of flaws and character development. it& #39;s like they& #39;ve never moved past the point of disney cartoons where it& #39;s & #39;good vs bad, everything needs to be spelt out for the kids& #39; and there is no fucking nuance there
instead of seeing a morally grey/flawed character and thinking about what made them the way they are, what motivates them, people just think & #39;they are doing this just for the sake of being a twat and they can& #39;t be redeemed& #39; when that& #39;s just.... not how the world works.
u can have personal problems with a characters morality or flaws, you don& #39;t have to forgive them for some of their behaviour, but you cant deny that /these/ are the characters that have the most intrigue and nuance to them. these are the characters that drive the content forward
