i'm sorry that yall can't stand the spice, the drama, the intrigue, damn go eat your stale bread and drink your room-temperature tap water and let the rest of us have our feast

people just can't seem to be able to comprehend the mere existence of flaws and character development. it's like they've never moved past the point of disney cartoons where it's 'good vs bad, everything needs to be spelt out for the kids' and there is no fucking nuance there

instead of seeing a morally grey/flawed character and thinking about what made them the way they are, what motivates them, people just think 'they are doing this just for the sake of being a twat and they can't be redeemed' when that's just.... not how the world works.

u can have personal problems with a characters morality or flaws, you don't have to forgive them for some of their behaviour, but you cant deny that /these/ are the characters that have the most intrigue and nuance to them. these are the characters that drive the content forward
