The St Andrews news has pushed me over the edge today... the university insisted students attend in person, insisted it was essential and safe, have taken the accommodation money... and now ask for a voluntary lockdown in a blatant attempt to shift blame onto students...

There are many people who will deserve significant blame if the reopening of university campuses causes a spike in cases, none of them are students

Can’t believe how this kept on going through the day, had to turn off the notifications. The solidarity to refuse to blame students is so heartening, above all else we have to hold on to that
