I think I'm starting to gradually understand value-form theory, but I still struggle to see what concrete forms of political practice might flow from it. How does one abolish the law of value?
Engels, Kautsky, et al may have popularized an interpretation of Marx that jettisoned much of what made Marxism distinctive, but they also made Marxism useful to a European working-class movement that achieved incredible successes
Obviously that cycle ended, and Stalinism happened, so we needed new readings of Marx, and I'm grateful for them
But if the abolish the law of value means an immediate insurrectionary leap into a new world of use-values, then you lose the idea of transition, some dialectical movement from here to there, which helps distinguish Marxism from anarchism
