As a long time fan of @taylorswift13 & lover of her merch I have been disappointed with how @UMG has been handling shipping since the release of folklore. It& #39;s time to address these issues. I& #39;m starting a thread for fans to discuss their frustrations w/ the current merch (1/11)
I love & respect her endlessly, but it& #39;s with this respect that I voice my frustrations & create an environment open to talking about this issue & the overall tone of disappointment by fans in @UMG currently. Here& #39;s some issues that have been voiced by multiple people: (2/11)
Many people are reporting cracked and damaged CD& #39;s when they arrive or even when purchasing at Target. (3/11) @taylorswift13 @taylornation13 @UMG
The wrong merchandise is being sent after people are waiting 4-8 weeks for items (such as a poster for another band instead of sweatshirts). (4/11)
The cardigan smelt like chemicals or a strong musty smell & it had to be washed twice to get it out. (5/11)
Delayed shipping past anticipated timelines shows complete lack of organization & poor planning in supply chain management. It& #39;s frustrating to anticipate something is coming in 6-8 weeks only to get an email after it should have shipped that there is a further delay. (6/11)
Sweatshirts are arriving with holes in them which is unacceptable. (7/11)
I understand each tie-dye item is unique, but ones that do not even closely resemble the image & expectation of customers with barely any dye should have never been sent out. (8/11)
Why is no one doing quality control to ensure product quality before items are being shipped? I understand mistakes happen & COVID has really delayed shipping, but this seems an unusually prevalent number of issues & crazy processing times. (9/11)
Times are difficult financially for SO many (I personally lost my job & had to move home) so it& #39;s frustrating spending money for something only to be let down by it. I LOVE my merch that I have received, but that does NOT negate the issues I am seeing here. (10/11)
