2/When folx w/large platforms spread misinformation about policy w/o the basic understanding of how the Legislative, Executive, Judicial branches function it harms all of us (makes Putin happy!). That's not civics shaming, just don't place blame w/o understanding how it works.

4/The impeachment of Donald Trump occurred between the dates of Dec 18, 2019 – Feb 5, 2020. On Dec 31, 2019 the Wuhan Municipal Health Authorities report a few pneumonia-like cases in Wuhan, China. It is not until Jan 3, 2020 that China officially notifies the WHO of an outbreak.
5/On Feb 3, The first U.S. coronavirus patient is discharged from the hospital. On Feb. 6, the day after impeachment ends, Trump has a conversation with Chinese President Xi. 6/The impeachment did not stop Trump from knowing that there was a virus, that it was deadly, and that action needed to be taken. Nancy Pelosi on the other hand was already pleading with Trump in February to take COVID seriously. That a larger financial response was needed.
7/Nancy Pelosi is not POTUS, Trump is. Nancy Pelosi couldn’t have ramped up production of PPE by invoking the Defense Production Act, only Trump could've. Nancy couldn't have implemented a nationwide mask mandate or a COVID-19 tracing and testing program, only Trump could have.
