Painted my nails vermilion last night - forgot how much I've loved this color since early childhood! Very happy.

Another related shade I adore: ochre.

(I've always loved color words. A lot.)

8 Colors from the Bigger Crayon Box https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/vermillion-chartreuse-cerulean-sepia-color-names
Half the colors in that article I absolutely love: vermilion, cerulean, sepia, umber.

The others I only like sometimes: khaki, fuchsia, chartreuse, and cyan. (I blame the 1980s.)
Fuchsia and chartreuse remind me of the neon era of the mid-1980s.

Cyan was a font and highlight setting on one of our early MS-DOS era computers. (Eyes are watering from that memory.)

And there's nothing like a great khaki jacket, but no one says it's their favorite color.
