That isn't to say that hearing aids or Cochlear Implants can't work for some people, but society has been trying to separate and prevent Deaf people from existing for hundreds of years. It's all "oh I wanna learn sign!" until it comes to your babies being Deaf.

Before people start to say "Look what implants can do!" Yes they are impressive, but think how these results are shown without any background audio, static, multiple people talking. Some people have mixed results. Some people disconnect their implant when there is too much noise.
Remember, babies can start to learn sign as early as 6-9 months old. We can sign and communicate before many can even speak.
