Daily reminder that ACAB because they belong to a bastardized system.

We are systematically racist. This does not mean that all cops are racists or bad people. Some cops are literally ignorant to the fact that the system is pitted against its citizens and "good cops". +

However, all cops are still bastards because they work for this racist system. Some choose to do so willingly because they think they can make it better, but they can't. +

Some people choose to be cops to feel powerful and in control. These people make up most of the entire police system. This is why "good" cops can't really exist in the system. +

The "good" cops get cast out, threatened, and even fired for speaking up about wrong doings in the force. It doesn't really help your future to be fired from such a position (especially if you are a woman, Black, Indigenous, or POC) +

So most "good" cops choose to keep their mouths shut from this fear. These "good" cops are likely naive people who didn't think the system was against good people. +

However, while they still belong to a bastardized system: ACAB!!! +

Being a cop is a choice, and as far as I know, you can put in your 2 weeks/ resign at any time. +

This system has always favored whites (the highest favor going to cis, straight, white, Christian men which is a different topic). While there are lower class white people, the color of their skin does not create problems for them. +

There are so many harmful stereotypes created for Black people by racist people and the system feeds into those stereotypes to make them seem more true. +

For instance: not providing the same funds for schools in Black communities as they do in white communities. Lack of education has been proven to increase crime rate. +

A huge stereotype is that Black people are bad and criminals by default, which just isn't true but the system wants everyone to believe it is by defunding services that could be used to help communities lower the crime rate. +

And we make our way to how this ties into cops: cops BELONG to the system, and the system gets them to either consciously or subconsciously think that these harmful stereotypes are true. Obviously anyone can be scared that they might be face to face with a murder but +

cops have guns issued by the government.

So again: ACAB!!! Violent cops who take advantage of what the government gives them are bastards! The cops who hold their tongue when witnessing acts of violence by other cops are bastards!!! The cops who cheer on the violent ones are bastards!!!

Blue lives don't exist!!! People choose to be cops and therefore belong to a bastardized system and therefore are bastards themselves. +
