The word 'transparent' was featured total 9 times in BJPs 2019 Election manifesto. First 3 times it was mentioned in the note of then party president Amit Shah who basically boasted about the all-round transparency of the Modi Govt during its first term.

Rajnath Sing repeated same lines as Amit Shah when he mentioned it for the 4th time. Rest 5 times, it was used to describe specific areas where BJP had claimed to achieve significant success. Those were

Transparency in delivering direct benefit schemes, Transparency in policy making, Transparent economy, Strengthening of Health Infrastructure/Medical Education Reform and Corruption Free Bharat

Reality Check-Non-transparent BJP and the its lies

1. During the lockdown cash transfer was done to the poor under PMGKP. But the same Govt doesn’t have any data on the death of poor migrant workers during lockdown. Also as per the govt, migrant exodus happened due to fake news!

3. No infiltration in the Indo-China border as per the Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai!
4. The 20 lakh crore economic package actual fiscal cost of which translate to less than 2.5 lakh crore.

5. RTI denied for PM Care fund. Till date fund received for the current FY is not disclosed yet.
