Division promo removal is just like it sounds, no more promos from gold 3 to gold 2.

Promos will still exist between tiers like gold 1 -> Plat 4

Rank informed matchmaking is a pure upgrade. We are adding new factors to the algorithm on top of MMR.

With 0 increase to MMR spreads we will secondarily group players that are close in LP rank.

Rank Seeding is huge for both new players and smurfs. We look at all of the normal queues before you hit your first rank game and start you closer to where you should be.

No more new players starting in gold placements.

We added duos to master+ a few seasons ago, but are unhappy with the way it has played out. We don't want duo to be mandatory to hit the top of the ladder.

Duo and more is still available in Flex for master+

Victorious skins will still be granted at gold but we're also adding a unique chroma for each tier above if you reach it (plat, diamond, etc)
