They’ve been working hard for the past several weeks organizing their schools in a completely virtual capacity to turn out the #youthvote in key swing states across the country ⬇️

Alana (she/her) is a senior at Arizona State University who’s excited to connect with other young voters and wants them to know their votes DO make a difference.
@Jessica13Sims (she/her) is also an ASU student and she’s excited to work to elect better leaders for her community.

@nicolemorote (she/her) is a senior in ASU’s honors college and she’s most looking forward to empowering ASU students to make a change during this election cycle.
Solomon (he/him) is a senior at Northern Arizona University who got his start organizing in Yuma. He’s excited to be a part of the progress happening in Arizona.

Heading to the south, meet our 6 fellows in GA!

Bhavin (he/him) is a student at Kennesaw State University and says it best: “This election will bring much change and reform to the peach state this upcoming fall with the support from young people and our community!”
Jeremiah (he/him) is a student at Morehouse College and aspiring future politician who wishes to engage the students on his campus and help elect candidates who will progress the country in the process.

@julianxpineda (he/him) attends Georgia State University and hopes to unite groups to work together to create an equal and safe state for all Georgians.

Shehza (she/her) is a student at Georgia Tech who’s motivated by issues like “the provision of adequate protections for the working class to a more careful response to the COVID-19 pandemic to the scope and scale of policing.”

Tiana (she/her) is a junior at Spelman College who says that “this election will impact my community and HBCU campuses specifically because it will have a significant impact on the policies that affect marginalized communities.”

Moving to the midwest, meet @ztreibitz (she/her), a Drake University student organizing the youth vote in Iowa! Along with flipping Joni Ernst’s seat blue, she’s looking forward to working with different communities to make sure that Iowa Nice makes it to Washington, DC.
Over in New England, meet our 2 fellows in ME!

@hikidamaddie (she/her) attends Bowdoin College and is very excited to help get out the Maine vote this fall.

Talia (she/her) is a junior at Bates College who’s combining her work with us + the Lewiston Dems to mobilize Bates students to vote + volunteer. She says that “Maine has the opportunity to elect Democrats across the ballot who support issues I hope to see valued in our country.”
Back down in the south, meet @shelbishorttt (she/her), a student at Spelman College and a fellow for her home state of NC! She’s organizing because “This election is going to be life-changing as a young woman of color, and bring awareness to the issues that we face daily.”
Finally, meet our 6 fellows in TX!

Bianca (she/her) attends UTSA, believes young Texans deserve a better future, and wants to be a part of creating a more inclusive state that supports a woman’s right to choose and works to fight voter suppression.”
Janet (she/her) is a senior at UTA whose organizing/advocacy work can be seen through an international lens. A seasoned phone banker and digital organizer, she’s excited to organize our states to VOTE!
Johnny (he/him) is a freshman at UTEP who started organizing with Beto O’Rourke in 2018 and is currently working with the El Paso Young Dems, Texas Young Dems, and is the co-founder of the UTEP College Dems. He’s also a libra fyi ♎️
Miriam (she/her) is a first-generation student at Baylor University who believes that young people across Texas truly hold so much power in the upcoming elections. Her call to action: “We need to step up, show out (safely), and turn Texas blue in November!”
@sofialozanoTX (she/her) is a senior at Texas A&M University and started up Aggies Vote on her campus. She’s motivated "to get students in Texas actively involved in progressive politics and elect representatives that have the best interests in mind for their constituents.”
@zoeamurray1 (she/her) is a senior at UT Arlington who started organizing as a Senior Fellow for Beto for Texas in 2018 and is currently working with the UTA University Democrats.
