This happened in one of my Soc classes at Queen& #39;s right when deregulation was a big deal, and it was me and one other person out of a class of 250. https://twitter.com/BrandonTozzo/status/1306566547150864386">https://twitter.com/BrandonTo...
Fun thing about Soc at Queen& #39;s at that time - it had the lowest grade average to remain in Honours, so had a real swell in enrollment in third year.
In retrospect, no wonder Dr. Richard Day, anarchist prof, was very kind to me in particular, it was a pretty wildly entitled place.
Oh man... I just remembered when the cohort got a prof fired because they didn& #39;t like the grades they were getting in Stats. That was ... not the empowering student movement it may sound like.
Anyway, at the time they had the highest socio-economic demographic for students in all of Canada, so that says a thing, I guess.
Also a really active PIRG at the time, which was cool! Obviously the hegemony wasn& #39;t complete!
