where infact a Black population. In this thread we are going to dismantle any and all of these false claims.

Orientalist Paintings: The main Orientalist paintings that depict the Moors as Black in-fact where made by Belgian, Austrian and German painters. This shows that the people who are depicting the Moors as darker skinned people historically

had little to no contact with the Moors. On the other hand we present French Orientalist paintings which depict the Moors to resemble the current inhabitants of the Maghreb. The question is which one of these sources is more credible? The answer is simple; The French.
