Disclaimer: I haven& #39;t been in person - but my first impression from these photos is that there& #39;s a lot going on, to the point of visual overload. From the concept art and details, there& #39;s a steampunk theme. i think what would be good is one hero prop or building to convey that https://twitter.com/teamlooopings/status/1306542649181122560">https://twitter.com/teamlooop...
To be immersed in a theme park story, you need to quickly be able to know what& #39;s going on and the role you& #39;re playing. That& #39;s why usually those classic genres are chosen because we& #39;re all familiar with stories set in jungles, castles, space, the wild west etc
Steampunk is a bit more niche, but if you boil it down to fantastical technology run through a Victorian aesthetic, that& #39;s easier for guests to get. Disneyland Paris& #39; Discoveryland does a really good job of making that accessible and beautiful
Going off the Disney model of having the Long Shot, Medium Shot and Close Up - you want a clear silhouette from a distance to prime you for the adventure to come, more structures and signs as you get closer and then realistic textures and details up close https://twitter.com/teamlooopings/status/1306583800164515840?s=20">https://twitter.com/teamlooop...
Which is not to say it& #39;s bad by any means, it just needs the levels tuning. A bit like a song where all the audio tracks are the same volume
The internal queue areas look great, with Victorian advertisements, industrial revolution architecture and brickwork, and the preshow video on a slide projector https://twitter.com/teamlooopings/status/1306543336807903232?s=20">https://twitter.com/teamlooop...
