It's Patrick Mahomes' 25th birthday, so in his honor, I thought I'd go through some of my favorite stats and notes that make him the best quarterback in football.

A thread.
Mahomes recorded the 25th regular-season win of his career on Thursday, joining Dan Marino and Kurt Warner as the only three quarterbacks in NFL history to tally 25+ wins in their first 32 games.
Mahomes is just the second player in NFL history to throw 13+ postseason touchdowns before turning 25, joining Dan Marino.

What separates the two is that Mahomes tossed just two picks in that stretch while Marino threw 10.
Mahomes has tossed 3+ touchdowns 19 times in 37 career games (including the playoffs). In other words, 51% of the time, Mahomes finds the end zone at least three times.
Mahomes was 5-0 last season when trailing by double-digits, including in all three playoff games. He’s the only starting QB to lead three double-digit comebacks in a single postseason in league history.
Mahomes is the second-youngest starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl, and the youngest to ever win Super Bowl MVP honors.
Mahomes also gets off to a better start than just about anybody. Here's a look at his career September numbers (8 games):

-26 TDs (leads NFL)
-0 INTs
-9.31 YPA (leads NFL)
-128.7 QB Rating (leads NFL)

In other words, he averages 327 yards and 3 TDs in September.
Mahomes is the fastest player in NFL history to reach both 9,000 passing yards and 75 passing touchdowns, doing so in just 30 games.
Mahomes is the youngest player in NFL history to win league MVP honors and a Super Bowl.
Mahomes has topped 300 passing yards 18 times since the beginning of the 2018 season (including the playoffs), which are the second-most in the NFL and tied for the most all-time before turning 25.
Mahomes has lost just eight of his 37 career games, and he’s never lost by more than a touchdown.
Mahomes has thrown 102 passes of 25+ yards since the beginning of the 2018 season, which are 18 more than second place.
Lastly, Mahomes’ 25th birthday falls on the same day the NFL celebrates its 100th birthday. It’s only fitting that he’s off to the greatest start in the history of the league.
