In April, when it became clear that lab work was going to be a no-go for a while, @jonathanjtyler and @RichardStaff25 helped me construct an entirely remote project based on synthesising palaeo datasets from across the #asianmonsoon region for my PhD (thank you!)

Much of the data I needed for this analysis is freely available on NOAA, PANGAEA etc, but I also found lots of datasets in papers on Web of Science, Scholar, Mendeley etc (this took months, I won& #39;t lie https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😴" title="Schlafendes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Schlafendes Gesicht">). The raw data from these papers wasn& #39;t always available online.

Some of the data I needed I had to get direct from the authors (by emailing each person individually!) I am honestly so grateful to everyone who shared their hard work (sometimes within the hour of me requesting it!).
