Starting with Skin Types:
-Oily
-Dry
-Sensitive
-Combination
-Acne Prone
-Normal
There are many ways to assess which skin type you have. The easiest to do from home though is the blotting sheet test. Take a blotting sheet and dab it on various places on your face.

There are many ways to assess which skin type you have. The easiest to do from home though is the blotting sheet test. Take a blotting sheet and dab it on various places on your face.
Depending on how much oil shows up on the sheet. You can assess which skin type you have. It won't tell you if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin though. Knowing you have acne-prone skin is obvious. You can find out you are sensitive VIA a doctor, or a simple quiz online.
Once you have properly assessed which skin type you are. You can go about finding treatment and products that work best for you. It's always best to go to a Dermatologist, because they can give you treatment and know what is best for your skin. Now it's your job to find products
Everyone is different on the amount of products they like to use. 3-Step is the simplest. There are also 5 step, 7 step, and 10 steps (Korean skincare). I will be explaining each routine, to find out which one is most to your liking.
My personal favorite is the 10 step.

A 3-step skincare routine is the basic Cleanser, Toner, and Moisturizer. You will need to throw in an exfoliant to use 2-3 times a week. Be careful if you have sensitive skin!
ALWAYS REMEMBER SUNSCREEN

A 5-step skincare routine is not as basic but still manageable. Start by Double cleansing. First a water or oil cleanser. Follow up with a cream cleanser. Next, your toner. Then apply a serum for treatment. Finally, your moisturizer! Don't forget to exfoliate and apply sunscreen!
7-step routines require a bit more work. You first double cleanse. Apply your toner, and serums. Next, you'll use a sheet mask! Once you've finished with the sheet mask, you can apply eye creams and final step a moisturizer.
Exfoliation and suncreen are still important

A 10-step routine! This will be a lot of work but, your skin will
you. First, we double cleanse. Next, exfoliant. Move to your toner and apply your serums. Apply a sheet mask and after, use eye creams and then a moisturizer. You can also use night creams.
