the literal god of death materializing in front of Casiopea and ordering her to go on a trip with him and her being like “a TRIP? ugh do I really have to go” is the most introverted-person reply i’ve ever seen

Hun-Kamé explaining Casiopea
that Casiopea should
do his bidding bc he
rescued her also he’s
the literal god of
death

this one is about Hun-Kamé

hun-kamé to himself: quick say something nice and flirty
hun-kamé to casiopea: you are a funny thing
it’s like having a playful monkey
hun-kamé to himself: nailed it
hun-kamé to casiopea: you are a funny thing

hun-kamé to himself: nailed it
ah yes, that stage of any we-don’t-vibe-to-maybe-lovers trope where one of them tries to be nice or even flirty but instead it comes out like this
he brushed her lips.... with his fingers..... to magically heal the cuts there........... just kiss please.... i am in so much pain
this moment between hun-kamé and casiopea obliterated me...... please I just want them to be safe and happy together but it seems more unlikely with every page and I am so scared https://twitter.com/proyearner/status/1308863574526357509
oh. oh no. not the “villain finds out they’re longing for each other and promptly plans to take advantage of that” trope.......... fuck
i can’t remember the last time I read a story with this much unceasing onslaught of sharp, agonizing yearning...... i am going to COMBUST
// SPOILER //
the sexual tension between hun-kamé and shedding his godhood to live as a mortal with the object of his desire whom he asks for a new name
the sexual tension between hun-kamé and shedding his godhood to live as a mortal with the object of his desire whom he asks for a new name
I really can’t handle the sheer power and breadth of YEARNING in this book..... I am not strong enough.....
the author just HAD to sprinkle in a little “you and me against the world” as if the yearning isn’t AGONIZING enough
I can’t stop seeing this scene in my mind’s eye, and there are no words to put around the sheer ache lancing through my heart
