The fact that we grew up being told that people in Psychiatric/16 ward are crazy bothers me .
We really grew up being told that people with Mental disorders are crazy and we were made to fear them and not educated to understand,care for them and not discriminate them .

It’s a place for people with depressive disorders ,bipolar disorders ,anxiety disorders ,schizophrenia,people who suffer from mental breakdowns ,eating disorders ,suicidal people ,personality disorders,addictive disorders.

People go there because they need intensive help that they can’t get at home.The doctors and nurses there are trained to help the patients get through this.Its okay to go through these things ,it’s normal .These people aren’t crazy ,they’re just not able to handle it on their own

People go there for many reasons .
Someone having a mental disorder isn’t a topic for your gossip groups .Its not funny .These people are just normal like you.We need to stop the stigma associated with mental disorders.End the stigma around it !

This issue acts as a barrier to individuals who may seek or engage in treatment services .People are scared to seek help because they don’t want to be labeled crazy,they don’t want people to fear them.
