Yesterday's PS stream didn't do much for me. Launch date and price, finally, but most games shown felt like a retread of their latest show, and the new ones didn't interest me.

Cross-gen games don't bother me, but don't claim you believe in (distinct) generations, then sort of backtrack the statement a few months later. And stop timed exclusives, please.

Also, $70/€80 per game? I know I'm definitely not going with an all-digital next-gen console

Physical games are generally cheaper, so assuming you buy physical for 60 but digital for 70, you can only buy 10 or so games before the disc version becomes the better deal.

Also, my Game Pass subscription just seems like a better deal for every day that passes. With EA Play soon included and next-gen games being $70, I don't see how it wouldn't seem that way, although I wouldn't be surprised if they increase its price soon

Sort of off-topic, but before I got Game Pass I groaned every time they'd mention "X game is coming to GP" during Inside Xbox's and such, but I totally get it now. They got me hooked.

Final note: Imagine Game Pass PC getting eg Street Fighter V, a PS console exclusive. Maybe FFXVI, and maybe even at launch. Wonder if it's something MS would be able to do or if their console exclusivity contract would hinder that
