A thread on #RTI -

I had filed an application under #RTI (not my 1st). Online with CBDT. The system assigned it to a particular officer. Thereafter, my application has been transferred from one officer to another 5 times in 2 months! @ianuragthakur @nsitharaman

Received the 5th intimation of transfer today. Attached here with. My request has not been rejected. Hence, I dont think i can appeal against these. I have filed multiple #RTIs & been successful in getting valid responses from #CBDT. @ianuragthakur @nsitharaman

My thread isnt a complaint about my case. But to see if this can be improved. The officers are working very hard. But this is bureaucratic inefficiency at its worst. Is it so difficult for a central team to know what information lies where? @ianuragthakur @nsitharaman

What is also bothering me is this highlighted part. The "online system doesnt have an option for transferring" & that has added to the work of the Officers!! See the amount of paperwork & time spent. @ianuragthakur @nsitharaman

I really hope this Thread is acted upon in the right spirit. This is a constructive feedback & should be taken as one.
