(2) While I appreciate their good intentions, I am disappointed that no effort was made to blur her naked face or body in the video and photos now circulating on the web. Surely that would not be an impediment to geolocating the crime.

(3) This is a recurring problem in our field. The victims are somebody's brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers. First and foremost, they are human beings.

(4) If we're going to engage in #OSINTforgood, we should acknowledge and protect their dignity. This is no less important than identifying their killers or abusers.
