If Biden is elected will people like sports celebrities, Hollywood celebrities and tech groups have to expose their income and taxation? Or will they be exempt from doing that under the Harris/Biden administration? Is there going to be a carve out of those who won’t have to pay?
If the Hollywood celebrities, sports celebrities, and tech are not getting special privileges, and they are truly concerned about the underprivileged, why are they not donating massive amounts of their own income to benefit those people instead of doing fundraisers?
They are not interested enough to do that and would rather use their position to influence and encourage people who live paycheck to paycheck to use their money, while the celebrities “donate their time” and perhaps a small, tax deductible amount to the cause.
It was written that the celebrities have played the parts of the underprivileged and that’s why they are sympathetic to them and are registered Democrats. But what about the real people, who live real underprivileged lives everyday?
I think if celebrities or other privaledged people donate large funds to an election, the people should be told about all of their deductions, on their taxes the government has allowed and it should be explained in such a way that any layman can understand it!
I’m sure this thread is not going to be popular with the elite, but if you can donate 100 million to a political party, think what that 100 million might have done for Harlem! There has to be big benefits in it for the donor from that party!!
