When you& #39;re a first time mom who knows nothing about what& #39;s normal or not and you see something like that on your kid, you definitely would freak out so ofc you seek consult. (2/9)

Pero having gone to an MD and actually do stuff contrary to what is advised is a sign na di sapat yung patient education to give her reassurance. If your patient& #39;s fears are not addressed, they tend to seek 2nd opinion or worse, self-medicate despite what they& #39;re told. (4/9)
Kaya super important talaga to engage not only their medical concerns but also the thoughts and emotions that come with them. Kaya dito useful yung mag-CEA (catharsis-education-action) talaga. (5/9)
Before you educate your patients, you have to see them eye-to-eye and address what is bugging them. After all, hindi nga lang naman biomedical ang health. It is also psychosocial. (6/9)
Kase remember guys, contrary to popular opinion, medicine isn& #39;t only just about sickness and cures. Sabi nga ng Father of Medicine na si Hippocrates, a physician& #39;s duty is to cure sometimes, treat often and comfort always. Sa mga magmemed, sana take that to heart.

Pero yown...sana rin lang wag siyang nagsshare ng ganon practices lalo na& #39;t malaki following niya. Let& #39;s face it, getting to a doctor is not easy. It& #39;s easier to rely on what worked for kumare than shell out cash for a consult. (8/9)
